The #RunForZeroHunger Initiative

Stemming from our Chairman, Mr Anil Agarwal's vision of positively impacting the lives of 7 crore children in India, Vedanta's #RunForZeroHunger is a mass movement to make sure that no child goes to bed hungry. Aimed at eradicating malnutrition from the country, the #RunForZeroHunger movement is our commitment to provide meals to the less privileged children through our Nand Ghars, Vedanta's flagship social impact initiative.

For every kilometer you run with #RunForZeroHunger, we will contribute 1 meal. More the kilometers, more the meals ensured for children. So lace up, and clock up your miles for meals!

    Leadership Speak

As we embark on yet another edition of Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, we remain committed towards driving a positive change in the society. The prestigious Marathon is a testament to the spirit of communities coming together for a common cause. As part of our commitment towards creating a positive impact on children in rural India, for every kilometre you run, we will pledge a meal for a child through our Nand Ghar initiative. We're excited to witness even greater participation so that we can collectively contribute towards nourishing young India.

Let us unite in the #RunForZeroHunger!

    Priya Agarwal Hebbar

    Non-executive Director, Vedanta Limited

I am happy to register for the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon and I am looking forward to witness thousands of people participating in the event. I would encourage one and all to register for the event and promote the Fit India Movement. Organizing an event for 18 years is equivalent to scoring a century. The longevity of the VDHM showcases the popularity of the event among the people of India and the world.
